Deer Shed is a three day wonderland of music, comedy, arts, science, theatre and sports set in beautiful North Yorkshire parkland. What makes Deer Shed so unique is that it's ideally designed for taking your kids too.
With a cocktail of motion, branding, illustration, 3D modelling and web design we brought a shed load of youthful energy into the brand of a festival that's bursting with it.

Deer Shed already had an iconic brand mark that festival goers had come to know and love. We wanted to evolve this brand, giving it a fresh spin (literally).
By softening the harsh edges and making the logo three dimensional it gave us more space to be playful. Still being easily recognisable as the Deer, we were able to use the logo as a canvas with endless possibilities…Is it A Kayak, a popcorn stand, a box of noodles…
Pairing our new logo with bold type and loud poppy colour scheme has given the brand the energy and excitement that the festival deserves.
With a mix of 3D modelling, vector based and hand drawn illustration we created a huge catalog of ‘Deers’, animated to perfectly stitch together in any combo.
We designed a bold, colourful and modular direction for the site to showcase the variety of amazing activities on offer at the festival. A playful sidebar menu puts our idents at the heart of the experience.
Each area of the site was given a unique ‘Deer’ which seamlessly transitions between one another as you navigate the website.
Establishing a vibrant and consistent visual style across marketing and social was key to building excitement and encouraging ticket sales leading up to the festival.
