From serious to playful

Pricegore is an architectural practice who place an emphasis on context, people and the pleasure of experiencing buildings

Their brief was to create an experimental portfolio site that left users to discover, and interact with the work in playful reactive ways, underlining the relationships that exist through everything they do. Every season, the mechanic of the site is refreshed to present work through a new lens. We built an intuitive Craft CMS backend for the Pricegore team to update.

Something More

Visitors are encouraged to make the site their own, rip it apart and put it back together. Presenting a mix of working diagrams, architectural drawings and photography, users can engage with the whole process by playing.

The playful, reactive logo absorbs and combines colours from the images and text that surrounds it as it moves. Each image is analysed using AI to create the swatch of colours. Mousing over the mark brings it to life with a trail of colour.

“We’ve now got the website we wanted, one that blends a contemporary, fresh design, stunning motion graphics and optimum usability across all platforms. That this was also a fun and friendly experience from start to finish was a massive bonus.”
