HSC worked with Wired as part of their ‘Wired Originals’ series to produce an explainer video which delves deeper into ‘What Universal Basic Income (UBI) is and how it could help us deal with the coronavirus outbreak?’

The animation explores the opinions of Guy Standing, co-founder of the Basic Income Earth Network, as he dreams of a world that could potentially “return to the values of real leisure in the sense of the ancient Greeks” On ya head Plato!
Through low frame rates, vibrant colours, photo collage and colour overlays we were able to create an enjoyable, engaging animation which counterbalanced the heavy hitting nature of a story about a global pandemic making them easily digestible and easy to enjoy.
